To Brewer-Porch Children's Center from Birmingham. – Interstate 20/59
Take Exit 73 on to McFarland Boulevard (Highway 82) – as you exit turn to the right on to McFarland Boulevard. Go to the first major intersection – Hargrove Road . At this intersection there will be on your right Furniture Corner and Snow Hinton Park. Turn to the right on to Hargrove Road and go to the third traffic light. Turn left onto Loop Road and travel it until you see the first traffic light. At this traffic light there will be to your right a Tuscaloosa Fire Station and a Shell Station, turn to the right between these two on to Woodland Road. Go to the second left turn (at the traffic circle) and that will be the entrance to Brewer-Porch Children's Center (the first left will be into the VA Hospital parking lot). Drive the winding road to the top of the hill, the main building is the first one you see – come in the middle doors and we will direct you to where you need to go.
Highway 82 from Centreville - Montgomery
If you are coming from Montgomery, you will enter Tuscaloosa on McFarland Boulevard – your first large intersection will be Skyland Boulevard. Continue on McFarland to Hargrove Road and
follow the above directions.
Highway 69 South – Moundville, Greensboro, etc.
If you are coming on Highway 69 South as you enter Tuscaloosa come to the Skyland Boulevard intersection. Turn to the right onto Skyland Boulevard and going to the McFarland Boulevard intersection. At this intersection turn to the left on to McFarland Boulevard (on your left will be an Exxon Station and right will be McFarland Mall). Go to the first large intersection at Hargrove Road turn to the right between Furniture Corner and Snow Hinton Park and follow the top directions.
Highway 69 North - Jasper
Traveling 69 North when you get to McFarland Boulevard turn to the left on to McFarland Boulevard and travel to 15th Street/Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard. At this intersection turn to the left onto Veteran’s Memorial Parkway at this intersection there will be an Exxon, CVS, Regions Bank and University Mall. Go for several miles until you see a sign that says Loop Road and then another sign V. A. Hospital – exit to the right onto Loop Road. The VA Hospital will be on your left and a subdivision will be on your right. Go to the first traffic light and turn to your left onto Woodland Road (on your left will be Tuscaloosa Fire Department and right a Shell Oil station) go to the second left, at the traffic circle and turn to the left at the Brewer-Porch Children’s Center – University of Alabama sign (directly across from Woodland Hills subdivision sign). Drive the winding road to the top of the hill , the main building is the first one you see – come in the middle doors and we will direct you to where you need to go.
