Dane Cameron — Director of Access Services

Dane Cameron has been employed at Brewer-Porch Children’s Center since 1996. He has worked as a clinician in the Adolescent Adaptive Skills Training Program (AASTP), Outpatient Day Treatment (ODT) program, Residential Treatment program, and Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program. He was the coordinator of the Short-Term Treatment and Evaluation Program (STTEP) for approximately 11 years. From 2012-2016 he served as the Environment of Care Director. He also served as the Interim Clinical Director from January 2014 through December 2014. Currently, Mr. Cameron serves as the Director of Access to Care, the single point-of-entry for all people seeking services from BPCC. In this position, Mr. Cameron fields referral inquiries, ensures that clinical staff have all necessary information to make admission decisions, manages program waiting lists, and schedules intake evaluations. Mr. Cameron earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Alabama in 1994, where he double majored in both psychology and history. He then attended Jacksonville State University where he obtained his Master of Science degree in clinical psychology in 1996.
